Analogue Microcosm
Sound Pack
What is ANALOGUE MICROCOSM?
ANALOGUE MICROCOSM is an intricate arsenal of unique analogue sounds by legendary sound designer and producer, Richard Devine.
In Richard Devine’s words:
“I tried to make these sounds very fluid and expressive. Alien and and organic come to mind. I wanted to design these sounds without the use of computer software or plug-ins. I hope it inspires everyone to make some cool music with it.”
About RICHARD DEVINE
Richard Devine is an Atlanta-based electronic musician and sound designer. He is recognized for producing a layered and heavily processed sound, combining influences from hip-hop to old and modern electronic music. The sample content is conveniently organized into sub folders based on the types of sounds:
Bass: This is a collection of various analogue bass sounds.
Crackles and Noises: You will find crunchy and noisy sounds in this folder.
Drones and Textures: This is a collection of longer atmospheric and textural sounds. Great for film and game audio.
Percussion: Here we put short sounds, that are particularly well suited to be used as percussive elements.
SFX Long: Here we put longer sound effects. You’ll find long samples with delays and reverbs here.
SFX Short: Here we put sounds that we found to be more useful as effects than as percussion. There are no rules however, feel free to experiment with these as percussive parts.
